Over the past few months I've got many emails asking why if I'm conservative or Tea Party would I back Mitt? The answer is really quite simple, I'm pragmatic and understand that OBAMA not Mitt is the issue in America.
For that reason I could see the direction that blue collar Dems and indies were breaking in the primaries and it was for Mitt. Folks, we won't ever have a perfect candidate but we do have one that can win in Mitt and gets business and in the opinion of this blogger he also gets America.
Beating Obama is going to take money, blue collar dems pissed at being lied to and indies that want opportunity not a hand out. Mitt has polled well in post primary races in IL anf FL with those demographics.
Lets not get all wrapped around the axle pissing about the perfect conservative and realize that we have a socialist progressive liberal in the White House that must be defeated in November to avoid another four years of pain that will make the last four feel like it was boom times!
If you're a far right conservative...GREAT...stop attacking Mitt and focus on the real issue, if you're a pissed off Ron Paul supporter....GREAT....stop attacking Mitt and focus on the future. America is in the balance like no other time in the last 100 years, beating this radical progressive is a must and we all need to be pragmatic!
I think we have reached the point that the Tea Party endorse Mitt Romney and start the process of teaming to build a better America.
Up to now the TP has had various factions tearing into Mitt and it needs to stop as we have serious work to do over the next seven months. I think the TP has to recognize that we are not the candidate and that we are one of many gropus in the country that have some conservative leanings and can work together to get the White House back in 2012.
Up to now the various TP leaders have tried to make us more relevant as a group at the expense of Mitt. In short they built an internal demon that is clearly drawing the support of enough of the GOP base that he will get the nomination and to be blunt we have a large moderate wing of the GOP that does not drink all things TEA. We have to respect and embrace this crowd if we are to grow and like any business, diveristy, vision, and flexibility are key to long term success. To date the TP has been very rigid and that does not bode well for us if the thinkers and planners don't get hold of the movement and start influencing our future....All this starts with endorsing Mitt.
So, I'm endorsing Mitt and calling on the TP to do the same and start the process of healing and idea sharing that has to happen with camp Mitt for us to win in 2012. It's clear Mitt has enough of our ideas to be a great candidate and further it's clear he is a huge upgrade to the uber progressive left that is now running our country.
The goal for us in the TP has to be to work with Mitt and "team" to have him openly embrace a couple core principles of ours and us openly embrace him as the GOP nominee. At the end of the day we need 50.1% of the country in our combined camp to win and the TP does not make up 50.1% of the electorate. Endorsing Mitt is a game changer as the media and the left would freak out knowing that we in the TP get the big picture and can adapt and work with candidates vs. this monolithic mindset that has gripped our movement and makes us think we are the only horse in the race or only vote that counts in conservative America.
On behalf of my organization the Armed Forces Tea Party I'm backing Mitt and looking forward to a better America. Four more years of an unchecked obama may set us back as a country 25 years. Time to see the big picture here and at AFTP we do.
Ok, I'm about fed up with all the fake liberal feel good crap and mixed with double speak on freedom of speech.
How many of these POS Chevy Volts do we have to fund? These cars suck and it's the liberals forcing us to go green by saying "pay for high gas prices or buy the POS cars we say you must buy". It's total bull shit! Same with the fake green jobs industry while blocking the trans canada pipeline. In short liberals are the problem in this country!
Now we have the take Rush off the air stuff from same groups that ignore the likes of Ed Schultz and "slut" comments by radical progressives. The liberal left wants to define free speech as speech we approve of not open and free expression of ideas and thoughts no matter how off color it may be.....liberals are the example of offensive speech in this country, the name Bill Mahre ring a bell!
Last we have radical code pink backing Ron Paul. The crazy crowd backing the forign policy insane crowd....go figure and this guy and his band of loons try and pretend they are conservatives. Another example of liberals in action lying and hiding who they are to adavnce the agenda at all costs.
Stand up, speak out and reject these liberal assults on America my conservative friends!
The situation in Iran is the most dire threat to the globe in 80 years and in many ways the idiology in Iran is much like that of Nazi Germany. Unlike Norh Koera that posed a regional threat with no real advanced delivery systems or larger global aims Iran is sitting in the most high stakes part of the globe with international designs of a world order they control. Here are the stakes:
1. Isreal and the fact they are target #1 of Iran. Isreal can not and will not allow itself to be in a situation that an attack by Iran kills millions of Jews for obvious reasons. Isreal has most of the skin in the game here as an Iran with nukes now can put a bulls eye on Tel Aviv while funding and supplying Hamas and Hezbollah on each side and encouraging non-stop attacks against Isreal.
2. The sitting U.S. President must deal with this very harsh reality. Iran with nukes puts the U.S. 5th fleet and any garrison force of 10,000 in Kuwait at risk of a massive attack that kills 10,000 plus of our military. This is a pressure unlike even the risk of the Cuban missile crisis in the sense that even if we strike first after they get nukes, Iran could still survive a first strike and send missiles with nukes that land in less then 4 minutes...in essence a no warning nuke attack. No U.S. President could accept that clear threat to our troops stationed in the region.
3. The regional Arab states. They don't want an Iran with nukes and know it's a game changer. Now there is some balance as even Saudi has an Air Force that can strike Iran and keep them at bay. In a world with nukes in Iran on missles that now becomes a non-issue and Iran can dictate terms to all regional partners and even go after vast oil reserves in southern Iraq as well as those in Saudi and Kuwait.
4. Europe, they know Iran is far more adavanced with it's missle delivery systems and can target cities in Europe in the event they decide to attack Kuwait and Saudi for oil reserves. They can tell Germany stay out of it "or else" and mean it!
In short we have a perfect storm brewing with the location, the idiology and leadership as well as the advanced technology to deliver nukes across a large part of the populed planet. We have a country that wants these weapons for the sake of using them directly or indirectly to change the global balance of power and force a caliphate on all of us.
I contend that war with Iran is coming and I prefer we do it now as opposed to when we have an Iran with Nukes. I pose this question to you....In the spring of 1945 would Hitler have used nukes had he got them even that late in the war? The answer is London would have been the first city to ever be attacked if the Nazi's got the nuke because of idiology and that's the case here with Iran.
1. Is there a connection to Obama with fast and furious and was there a larger political plan to take guns out of Americans hands by duping us with a false story about U.S. guns going to Mexico? Was this part of a larger plan to restrict U.S. gun sales?
2. Why are so many black celebrities and politico's coming out against Herman Cain? Did cross over voting Americans elect Obama and NOW tea party conservatives flocking to Cain? Are progressives the real racists in this country?
3. Why don't the occupy Wall Street folks come out against overpaid Hollywood celebrities and mega millionaire sports stars? Do these folks create millions of jobs for all of us or do we spend our money to see them on TV and at sports events?
4. Why are tea party rallies clean and neat and OWS is a filthy den of urine and garbage?
5. Why does MSNBC talk about race and play the race card non-stop?
Friends, watch the events around you and then ask yourself questions like the ones above not the questions fed to you by an agenda driven world.
Note the products they use that support millions of jobs while these lazy bums protest to not work!
Why are they so un-American? And why does Obama support them?
One of the MSNBC enablers, says he was not doing his show near these clowns in support....Why do it there vs. in the studio.....We would love to hear the "spin" on that!
Real Americans belive work=reward not a free ride but yet we get the lables far the MSNBC kooks of the world.
